Bounties are climate positive tasks or challenges available on the Impact Miner App for users to explore, participate in and earn rewards. Bounties can range from providing proof of composting setup at home, collecting water samples to building of smart contracts that can help fight climate change. Bounties are curated based on your interests and the superpowers you choose.

Users can earn in up to three types of rewards: Impact Points: The Impact Points (IP) are XPs earned based on their applied skills (superpowers) and the accuracy of the bounty submission. These Impact Points are used to rank citizens on the Global Impact Index, fostering competition and recognition among users. Crypto Tokens: Users can earn popularly known crypto tokens that are EVM and Solana compatible. Impact Certificates: Impact Certificates are the user's immutable proof of impact. Users can claim and mint impact certificates as NFTs, providing verifiable proof of their contributions.

There are currently two types of bounties available: Physical and Digital Bounties. Physical bounties are those which require the user to be at a specific location for them to accept and complete the bounty are called physical bounties. These bounties can be viewed on the Map section, and the user needs to be within a certain range to accept the bounty. The bounty creator decides the range based on the nature of the bounty. Eg: Bounty to map groundwater wells in a specific region. Digital Bounties are those bounties which a user can take up from anywhere in the world. Eg: Providing ideas for a community outreach programme.

All bounties are open for everyone to participate unless specifically mentioned otherwise in the bounty’s ‘Criteria for Completion’.

Impact Certificates are digital proof of impact issued to the network member for their contribution. Impact certificates are backed by tangible real economic value and can be traded in the form of NFTs
